Our vision is to create a platform that spreads greater goodness amongst the people we work with, customers we serve and the communities we live in.
Who are we?
We are a creative lot who wish to leave an impact in the world.
Why are we here?
We are here to follow our dream to Disrupt. We see no reason why we can not leave an indelible mark in our lives. This is why we are here. To respond to the opportunities that are all around us. With our able teams, products and brands we will rise from the platform of Disrupt and collectively overcome our current limitations.
"Incorporate a culture that values situational hacks, facilitates synergies and provides the necessary means to scale".
The Disrupt mission can be broken down into three broad steps. Hack – the conception stage. Synergize- the implementation stage. Scale- growing our proven situational hacks. A compilation of the three becomes the Disrupt Mantra and dictates how things are being done.
Proactive people focus their efforts on their Circle of Influence. They work on the things they can do something about. Reactive people focus their efforts on the Circle of Concern -things over which they have little or no control. As a proactive person, you find out a way to deal with changes around you.
We believe in being influencers rather than reacting to someone else’s actions. We do not wait for someone to hand us how-to guides and tool boxes. We stand up and take control of the situation, whether it is work or our personal life. We believe we should be proactive and be a part of the solution, not the problem.
Respect leads to synergy, positive interdependency and increased productivity. Treating others how you want to be treated is an integral part of the Disrupt culture. Always remember that respect is earned, not handed out. Hard work, listening with an open mind, valuing another’s opinion, consideration, emotional sensitivity are steps towards earning that respect.
Openness is a prime factor in creating a healthy environment that supports growth. Following this belief, approachability is instilled at all levels of Disrupt- irrespective of designation. Being approachable means that others feel it’s okay to open up to you and share their ideas and thoughts with you. It builds self confidence, self appreciation, openness and most importantly respect. With time, it aids in the nurturing of innovation.
The world around us continues to change. We are living in an age of hyper connectivity where the speed of business is equals to the speed of light. Consumers have evolved from being patient, uninformed and understanding, to knowledgeable, demanding and impatient in nature.
As difficult as it may be, change is the catalyst that keeps things afresh. It supports transformation, fuels innovation and keeps a product relevant and more importantly, valuable to the marketplace. Today, it is advised to step out of comfort zones often, focus on creating real value and aiming to excel, repeatedly. Today, the successful understand that change is the only constant!
The creation of teams that share success, trust and knowledge is the foundation of the Disrupt dream. Disrupt brings together people with diversified mindsets and skills, to create a winning culture. This is how we have come this far. To fuel the growth engine, we have to leave individuality behind and embrace the “We” mentality.
Always think about your team- how your decisions impact the group as a whole. Align your individual goals to the team- make sure you add value and not stray from the team’s goals. Inspire trust amongst team members and eventually work towards nurturing innovation.
Having integrity means doing the right thing in a reliable way. It is a personality that we admire, since it means a person has a moral compass that does not waver. It literally means having ‘wholeness’ of character. A person with integrity believes in accountability.
To achieve the Disrupt vision, Disrupters must understand the importance of giving back to communities. This, in turn, links to happiness, and our definition of wealth. Using our time, skills and knowledge, a positive impact can be made on our teams, our families, our society and eventually the world. It all begins with a single mindset.
Like wealth, Disrupt doesn’t confine the definition of giving back to monetary actions. We encourage our team members to invest knowledge, skills and time working towards a better business environment, providing a healthy workplace to our colleagues, taking up community services and to launching initiatives through the Disrupt platform.
